Annual General Meeting (AGM)

On 22 March, the Annual General Meetingof the British Chamber of Commerce was held at the Caesar Park hotel in Rio de Janeiro. The meeting approved the financial statements forthe year ending 31 December 2011.
The terms of office of the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Administrative Council, the Honorary Treasurer, the Presidents and Vice-Presidents of the São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro branches, the President of the Rio Grande do Sul branch, and the other members of the Administrative Council were renewed. The meeting also saw the appointment of the Independent Auditors for the next financial year, in addition to other business of general interest to Britcham.
